Mr. Cronin, as he was known in our house, worked with our father, Daniel T. Sweeney for years at the Cronin Agency of Connecticut Mutual. He had an incredible influence on my father and was someone my father always looked up to through out his career. He made everyone he met feel like they were the only person in the room, even children of agents who were just so thrilled to be in the office to see where their dad worked. So sorry to learn of his passing. It is so moving that as his final act Mr. Cronin will help disabled veterans, a cause very important to him. The Sweeneys extend their condolences to everyone who loved John Cronin. I am sure my father will keep an eye out for him in heaven.
