GIACOMUCCI, Sr.

Frank, age 90, on May 24, 2021 of the Marple Newtown area for over 50 years. Born in Philadelphia to the late Giuseppe and Adele (Battista) Giacomucci, he attended Marple Newtown High School and the Spring garden Institute receiving a certificate in Drafting. He started working as a young man for his father at Giacomucci Construction Co., he later worked as truck driver for the Sealtest Food Co. for 18 years, and finally retired in 1994 as a Warehouse Supervisor at the Essex Food Co, A long time member of St. Anastasia Church in Newtown Square, he also volunteered for many years at the Bryn Mawr Rehab Ctr, as an Amputation Support Volunteer in 2005, when he lost his own leg.

He is survived by his wife Mary (nee Fanucchi), whom he married on July 29, 1950, he is also survived by his children Mary Lyn Richmond, of DE, Francis Joseph (Sue) Giacomucci, of Media, PA, Joseph A. (Carolyn) Giacomucci of Broomall, John M. (partner Ann) Giacomucci of Broomall, Stephen A. (Michele) of Phoenixville, Lisa G. (David) McEntee, of Downingtown, Carol (Mark) Giacomucci of Waddell, AZ, also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren, and his sister Gioia Kohlbrenner, of Broomall. Relatives and friends are invited to his Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 10:30 AM, where friends may call after 9:30 AM. Memorials may be sent in his name to the Alzheimer Association (DelVal Chapter), 399 Market St., Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106

Interment Sts. Peter&Paul Cemetery.
